Help my futher education with yammie stuff...
I've not heard much "good" regarding the rhh135 in relation to the action etc.
How would any of you guys using one rate it against say a VH11???
-BTW: bummed! I was looking into the Pintech unit you can mount on an acoustic hihat stand but it's not compatible with the dtx3... :(

Well....from what I understand, as it is designed, stock from Pintech, it's not compatible...but I believe that there can be some customizing done to it to make it compatible. However, at that point it may end up as expensive, if not more expensive, than the VH-11.
As far as bad things heard about Yamaha's RHH135, I'm kind of surprised to hear that. I have absolutely zero experience with them myself, but I thought I'd heard the other guys here speaking rather highly of it.

Most of what I've heard bad has been from.. "you know where".. so I wanted to get some "REAL" feed back..lol

I have to say...I've not heard any bad things about the RHH135...I've owned one for about 7 months now...and have nothing but good things to say about it...I have played both roland models (VH-11/12) and personally don't see any real difference (in action or functionality) between the three....if anything the yammie feels a little better, cause it's a little softer/more compliant in material feel...:)...which also makes it a touch quieter.
