Well, as you guys know I now have a spankin not-good-as-new MDS-20BK rack that I'm oddly happy with. But it has been abused so much that doing a spray job on the tubes wouldn't do good enough.
So despite how anal Roland has become nowadays with the cone issues, I went ahead and called to order some spare rack parts from the spare dept.. or rather pretty much 1/3 of the whole rack.. from screws to tubes.
Cost issue aside, it would be a surprise if that order even be accepted. Well surprise, it did.
What's more surprising is that the spare dept. rep dude even gave me a whole pdf file for both MDS-20bk and MDS-12BK, that has the part #'s for every single part there be to them racks. O_o (I was told strictly not to share the files though...)
And what's even more surprising is that this guy is doing all these for me even when he nearly got demoted by his boss because of me few months back, as I order a mass amount of baskets 'n cones 'n piezos - pretty much everything except the shell - pretty much everything you need to build a set of PD-105/125 of your own. His boss saw this and pretty much plummeted the fella.
Of course I gave him my sincere apologies... :) And offered to give up my sister in any case he wanted a lady for a date. And a lunch if I ever met him.
Anyway... I guess the purpose of this thread is... a show off on how lucky son of a ***** I am. Teehee.
