I had Knipe build me a custom set a while back... dual piezo...and I cannot get the setting right to fire properly on a DTX3...

Hey Ryan, Welcome back and happy to see you. I have to look at my kit and see what settings I am using with my mesh headed drums. I am sure I had to turn the head gain down, there is no rim settings on the DTX3 but I was getting cross stick on my snare and rim shot (very strange but dont look a gift horse in the mouth). Like I said at VDrums, we just need to make up some Raper circuits and all will be well. T:)

I will start gathering up the parts to complete. T

Thanks Tom!... I'm using a stupid Simmons module for running VSTs right now, but I want to get the full functionality rolling asap! (BTW...Incase anyone ws wondering.. RHH135 doesn't work with a Simmons module.. not that anyone cared..but there it is. lol)

I am working on them and then i will ship them out to you, will you be able to wire it up if I show you where to put everything? T

I dont have the same issue with my mesh head pads, the snare works fine and I cant figure out why. T

As far as the KRC's go.. I should be able to get them installed with a bit of help/instructions. I don't think it will be too complicated. Should only be a matter of a couple snips and solder in the little "dude" right?

Ryan, Actually it will be just a little solder and attach a few wires and plug it in, set the pot and away you go. I will look for a really small project box to put it inside and mount it. I will start assembling them Monday night when i get back from a trip I am going on. Will be some fun to solder these up. I will pm you my address. Talk soon, Tom
