If I do an eDrumming symposium in Ohio does anybody want to come?
I am just in the "mulling it over" stage at this time so if anybody thinks this is a good or bad idea, or just has suggestions, now is the time.

What do you think of the name "Future Drum" or "Future Drum Symposium"?
That way we are not tied to Ohio and the website futuredrum.com is available.

The funny thing is when I show the picture no one ever questions the Kramden photo, if you didnt have the power jewel and the goatee no one would have picked anything up from that.

Heh. That picture just makes me smirk everytime I look at it. JK :p
The name sounds cool to me too. Funny how such a basic name is available! You should take it straight away, before it some nutjob takes it and sells it for a couple of Million $ (http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=40515) :)
Hey Tom, how are the shells comin?

I was surprised that futuredrum was available. Some squatter already got futuredrums. I will snatch it today and start putting something up.

Well, I have a site for the symposium. Depending on the size of the event it could do fine. The local community center owes me big time and they are willing to open up their facillities on a Saturday for me! The only problem may be that there is not that many rooms. There is a big hall (with kitchen) and two smaller rooms for breakouts or panels. There is also a dance studio, but because of the flooring you can't put anything in there.
I am going to look at other options, but my feeling is this isn't going to be a packed event, so the CC will probably be more than adequate.

I am starting to get geared up for this, lets talk soon and come up with some stuff I can do remotely from here to help out. I think this is going to be a **** load of fun.

I sure hope so.
I just got a list of available dates. In September, the 22nd is open. Oct and Nov every Saturday is free so far.
Should I shoot for Sept?

Its really up to you but I think either September or October would be the best weather and Temperature wise for travel. I am going regardless. Talk to you soon. T
