First multilayered demo's from snare and cymbal.

Hi, i bought a DTXtreme III SP previous week and have been experimenting using own multivelocity samples and upload them to the module.

I did a test with a YAMAHA Gold Maple 14" snare and a PAISTE Signature 16" crash.

I'm having some troubles with the triggering of the rim samples but this is probably a bad DIMM problem.

The snare has 6 layers which are added degressive, the crash is 5 layers (the bell and bow are still the internal sounds tho).

Anyway, nice job! That snare sounds fantastic. So these are samples that you already had and loaded them in?
I don't know anything about how the layering function works, so I'm impressed with anyone going in and doing that stuff.

thx, actually i recorded these amples with a mini-disc and a sony mic. nothing fancy.

i tried uploading another example with toms but i'm not able to upload attachments anymore to this site.

ans old attachtments seem to be gone also.
