Hi,

Just came across this forum by happy chance - looks cool and interesting, so joined up :)

I've been drumming for about 40 years in the UK, the last 10 using e-drums (although I admit to possessing those pesky whee, whee early e-drum efforts in the late 1970s ;) ).

Started with a Yamaha DTXpress but for the last 5 years I've been using a Hart Pro 6.4 HH and Roland TD-20 (+exp).

Good to see there are still enthusiastic and helpful e-drummers around.

cheers,
Will

Welcome to the forum willsud. You enjoying that TD-20exp? Are you using any Vex kits with it? WW

A VEX kit is from the guys at V Expressions, they provide custom kit programming to take full advantage of the Roland COSM features. Their website is listed in our friends of EDF links and I will copy it here for you.

http://www.vexpressionsltd.com/

Take a look around and see if its right for you, its not free but they do amazing things with Roland modules. Tom

thanks Tom,

I'd forgotten about them  ...

yes, I think I bought a couple of sets some years ago but haven't looked for ages - must dig them out again and browse the new stuff.

Will

thanks guys,

It's already been beneficial - I'd completely forgotten about the Vex kits I'd bought 4 years ago (old age y'know  ;) )
