After a while, I realized that was not practical having to disassemble my Ion/Roland/Yamaha hibrid e-kit every time I went to friend house to play all together... So I bought this travel kit for home:

switched the acoustic heads with mesh ones and triggered it:

here it is, connected to the Ion controller and kickbox to try play RB ( but usually I have it in my bedroom connected to the DTXpress and AKG Studio headphones so I can study till late :D ).

Hi Blaufeld.
Nice compact kit.
I can see where this thing would be quite easy to haul around since there is no rack or a mess of extra hardware. Looks very functional yet still looks good! :)
I see you using a mesh head (with no backing) on your bassdrum, doesn't that make your kick really bouncy to the point of being difficult to control?
Take care

I tried some Pintech external triggers with mesh once and couldn't get decent response. How are yours working out? WW

Thx to everyone - and no, the bass isn't too much bouncy... and the dinamyc response is very good. :)

Had several other drummers review and loved them.
You could make your own triggers out of piezo transducers. You will need a 30mm to 50mm depending on where you trigger. These are much cheaper than the bought triggers around 60 cents. All you have to do is mount them and send the uncompensated signal to the brain/trigger io.
