Contests

I am wondering what kind of contests we could run and have fun with it, I think they need to be different but still keeping them fun and yet challenging. LOL Overlord what are your thoughts as I remember you originally bringing up the topic last week?

Well, I was thinking of having the Slowest, Fattest Drummer contest. But I would be a shoe-in.

But seriously. The problem with this kind of thing is it tends to discriminate against the less tech savy. If the contest requires uploading clips, how do we make it fair for people who don't even know how to plug in their module? Or maybe that's part of the playing field?

And what prizes would be available that don't suck?

I must cogitate on this in the Zen Room (Lavatory).

I will think on this a bit and come up with some wisdom. You have left me with something to ponder. I might be fatter and quite possible slower.

I am thinking we can add priveledges or maybe some kits from Alan or maybe some Yamaha Samples or even maybe if we get to a certain level of members a Custom Made Snare drum made by none other than Knipe Drums. Or maybe a convertible snare, acoustic and electrice. Hmmmmm I wonder if Knipe could do that kind of thing???? :)

I think I can make a drum for a contest sure why not? I wish you would have asked me first though.
